Our Ethos.
Our philosophy is
“Sustainable locks, sustainable love. Show your care for your hair and the planet.”
Loxx Salon opened its does in Caringbah South in 2011 before relocating to Gymea Bay in 2022. At Loxx Salon we specialise in creating effortlessly healthy and beautiful hair, using sustainable products that make you feel good and look good.
The way we work
To help protect the health of our planet and that of our staff and guests, we choose our products carefully and we work mindfully. The products we use in salon (and sell for at home care) are kind. They are safe, gentle and sustainable - ethically sourced and packaged in recyclable or biodegradable plastic, which has itself been made from either 100% ocean waste plastic or 100% land plastic.
At the basin, we use ECOHEADS showerheads which use up to 65% less water than regular shower heads, And throughout the rest of the salon, we’ve implemented environmentally friendly waste management practices to help us tread more lightly on this earth.
Proud Product Partners
For Loxx, out of sight is most certainly not out of mind. To work with genuinely eco-friendly products we could feel good about, and trust in, we searched high and low. We scrutinised. We questioned. Finally, we found our perfect partners.

Pure ticks all the right boxes – and then some. They swap out synthetic ingredients for natural plant-based alternatives wherever they can, and that’s only part of the story. Pure uses organic ingredients, biodegradable ingredients, sustainable practices, soy inks, vegan friendly and gluten free formulations… the list really does go on. What clinched the deal for us, however, was that they’ve created a natural haircare solution without compromising performance, and that their bottles are made from 100% Australian recycled land waste plastic, so they’re helping us achieve great results for our clients and keep plastic out of landfill, rivers and oceans xoxo.
Pure products are cruelty free and contain no sulphates, parabens, microbeads, formaldehyde, PEG or genetically modified ingredients.
